Stan Smith Adidas (cont.)
I finished the shoes for the show coming up in San Francisco. I will post more info on the show a little later. It was not an easy process to paint the shoes. I was able to get some guidance from a friend, Kane-One. He helped me out in finding the right paints and told me the steps that go into custom painting shoes. All-in-all I am really pleased with the outcome. Not bad for my first time.

Cosmic Crash
I recently had the pleasure of working on a great production with two of my close friends. We put together a great masterpiece in just a couple of days. I want to say I am really happy with this production for the fact that it all tied together fairly well. The theme was based off one of Jack Kirby's comics. For those who do not know who Jack Kirby is, he is an American comic book artist, writer and editor who did a lot of work with Marvel and DC. The photo above is just a part of the production that Omens, Jash and I worked on. I have yet to get a better picture of the whole production. However, when I do, I will post it.

All Natro
All Natro is moving Hawaii, and me too of course! My good friend Kawika is part of a band from Hawaii called All Natro.. and let me tell that these guys know how to move a crowd. Their music is awesome and so extremely energetic that you would not be able to help yourself from dancing like you've never danced before. When I left Hawaii they had just won the Mai Tai Rumble and it was amazing! Everyone was CHEEHOOing and chanting "ALL NATRO-ALL NATRO!!"
Nowadays this group has ventured out and has begun to move like a strong makai sucking up every hollowed spirit and filling it up with such an enriched sound. I believe this band is going places and when they come through, be ready for the spirit to move your body making you believe in the super natro - the ALL NATRO!

Show in San Fran
So i was recently invited to be a part of an art show in San Fransisco put together by Estria. Estria is an old school graffiti writer from SF... back from when Psycho City was in business. Those of you from San Fran know what that is. Anyhow check out Estria's blog below and you will find out what he is all about as well as other cool stuff that he puts together such as the Estria Invitational Graffiti Battle (EIGB) which takes place across the country.

Still connected...
Okay so it has been a while since I have written on here. Since the last post I have had a few new things going on which I will post momentarily. I have been trying to stay focused on where I want to go with my art or where I want my art to take me. I am sure some artists go through this. As established as I am with my graffiti, i want to expand myself to using more art techniques that I have not yet tried.
Here is a creation I made the other day... and let me tell you it was mmm-mmm good!
Coffee, bean sprout and mushroom omelet with cheese, white rice, and wheat toast...

Like Mike
So I am not a big basketball fan.. As a matter a fact I can't remember the last time I watched a game... actually after MJ left I don't think I ever watched it much again. Anyhow, when I did watch b-ball, it was when MJ was soaring through the air. I remember my house used to be filled up with almost every kid on the block just to watch MJ play, and I mean there were about 25 of us that would watch it, yelling and getting excited for every move Jordan did. The man was an amazing basketball player! I have not heard of anyone who has brought that much excitement to fans the way Jordan did. I mean don't get me wrong, I am sure there are other players doing their thing right now; however I have not heard that same excitement that Jordan brought to the fans.
The reason I brought this up was, while browsing through YouTube I came across these MJ dunks and it brought back memories from when I was kid..
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be like Mike!!
At least back then I did. LOL.
So aside from the music, these MJ dunks are FREAKIN AMAZING!!

The Beauty Behind a Wipe Out
I have been wiped out from a shorebreak on Hawaii's beaches a few times in my life. Some of them were really funny and some of them hurt like hell. Luckily I was never hurt really bad. I could only imagine some of the wipe outs that surfers, who spend a lot of time in these Hawaiian waters, go through. In a recent email I received some photos of the most colorful and beautiful waves that one most likely will not see during a wipe out, other than a blackout or some stars. These photos were taken by Clark Little who is not only from Hawaii but also a surfer. I enjoyed these photos so much that I thought I would share..

Word for the Moment
Being that my vocabulary is not as extensive as I would like it to be, I have decided to create my Word for the Moment to help me understand what the hell my woman, or any other word exhibitionist, is talking about.
The Word for the Moment is...
disheveled - 1. Being in loose disarray; unkempt, as hair. 2. Marked by disorder; untidy..
